The Osaka Curtain Panels

The Osaka Curtain Panels
The Osaka Curtain Panels were my first large piece experimenting the Bojagi technique.
Bojagi is a traditional patchwork technique using scrap fabrics for curtains and wrapping gifts. Reusing and repurposing, no waste, creating beauty with a little light.
With no exposed seams the panels can be viewed from the front and the back creating a beautiful light filter. The sections of botanical dyed fabric add depth amongst the block colours of the panels, ever changing with the shifting light.
The fabrics used in this piece are all repurposed.
There are 2 panels included in this piece which can be pulled to either side of the window/doorway/wall - where ever you want to hang it!
The dimensions for each piece are…..
Drop 1430cm
Width 97cm - The two panels hung together total Width 194cm
